all of my needs met in one breakfast.
i was AMAZED at how well these beautiful students took to sketching and painting. some of them claim they had never even drawn before, which only reinforces my belief that we were ALL born artists. sometimes we just need a little push and encouragement to get things going.
such a satisfying day.
i’m SO looking forward to teaching my sketching/drawing workshop in sicily ! even though i am super shy, the thought of doing what i love to do in a beautiful setting and being able to share my approach to art with just a handful of people sounds dreamy. here is the tool kit i put together for my students. i can’t wait to see how they fill up their sketchbooks !
here is a peek inside some of my travel sketchbooks. i am so excited to be teaching a workshop in SICILY this june. i will be sharing my approach to sketching and watercolor painting and i KNOW i can make a sketcher out of you ! diva and i are planning a very magical slow art retreat and there are just a few more early bird special prices available. for more info, go HERE.

i LOVE boro textiles. there was such an abundance of them in tokyo. turns out, the next best thing to buying boro fabrics is SKETCHING them ! so satisfying.
