i was AMAZED at how well these beautiful students took to sketching and painting. some of them claim they had never even drawn before, which only reinforces my belief that we were ALL born artists. sometimes we just need a little push and encouragement to get things going.

slow art in sicily.
i’m SO looking forward to teaching my sketching/drawing workshop in sicily ! even though i am super shy, the thought of doing what i love to do in a beautiful setting and being able to share my approach to art with just a handful of people sounds dreamy. here is the tool kit i put together for my students. i can’t wait to see how they fill up their sketchbooks !

i am VERY EXCITED to announce a workshop that i will be giving in SICILY ! my good friend diva is putting together a slow art retreat on a beautiful island in sicily. i will give a workshop on my approach to sketching and watercolor painting and we will each fill up our own travel sketchbook.
