there was a sweet little flea market in golfe-juan where i bought this key. it was very tortuous because there were SO MANY other things i wanted, but couldn’t carry back with me. i was in such pain.

nothing beats a freshly laid egg. i love eggs. they are one of natures most perfect food. my friend + farmer just came for a visit bearing wonderful fresh produce and eggs. the brightness and creaminess of the yolk is almost overwhelming.
i have big plans for these beautiful fabrics. i’m making my summer wardrobe for france + vermont. i am fully consumed with my new uniform . . . i can’t stop making these simple a-line dresses (i’ve made 20 so far).
when my husband leaves for work, i secretly turn our kitchen table into a sweatshop.
(ssshhhhhhhhhhhhh . . . he’ll never know.)
here is just one of my cups that will be in the great BIG CUP SHOW at fourth & clay.
it opens on may 4th, and the reception for it is on may 5th.
i am beginning my new work life which = less production and more one-of-a-kind work. it feels SO nice to be making more thoughtful and slow work rather than making 100 rocks or 30 plates in one sitting . . . and it makes for a more peaceful studio. i love my new life.
these are works in progress.
tomorrow my mom and i are being photographed for ANOTHER magazine. the BAD news is that i had to have a BATH. ugh. but the GOOD news is that i will be getting A LOT of treats during and after the photo shoot. BRING. IT !
