magical.
this was the very dramatic sky as the sun was setting over lake ninevah in vermont. it was breathtaking. the skies here have been full of the most amazing clouds this summer. completely awe-inspiring. time to break out the oil paints . . .

foot loose and fancy free . . .
i LOVE frolicking in vermont with my best friend FELIX. the thing i like most about vermont is that i never have to be on a leash. but i did get in trouble the other day because i heard a gun shot (i HATE gun shots) and i ran for cover. i found a nice family in the forest with a pond in their back yard and a little girl named summer. i hung out with them for a few hours until my mom and dad came to fetch me. they were NOT happy with me.

the studio.
meet our new STUDIO VERMONT ! we are so lucky to have the amazing people in our lives who made this happen. a studio in the middle of a beautiful forest . . . what a dream come true.
and it is the PERFECT office for me, as i’m spending most of my time here working on my new book (the france sketchbook). if you know me, you KNOW that i need complete peace and quiet when i work . . . et voilà.
