old school FUN in FRANCE.
i love the chiens et chats in france. they seem to have so much character. i especially love this dog that i met in saint paul de vence. i really want to turn her into a cartoon character. can’t you just picture her going on adventures with WILMA ?!
and this CHAT . . . i really think he has a lot to say.
this might be the most amazing butter that has crossed my lips. it is from Normandy and has chunks of sea salt in it. it’s creamy, salty, and sweet. i actually think you CAN live on bread and butter alone.
and the packaging is pretty sweet, too.
my favorite tree is the olive tree. look at these beautiful petit dwarf olive trees i saw in antibes.

my work was much about the bottle this year. i made bottles out of clay, and i made a sketchbook called “étude de bouteilles” where i drew + painted a series of quick bottle sketches.
it’s time to set up our show in france. i’m hanging a wall of cutlery.
though some day, i hope to have a show that is THIS austere.
