follow the red brick road.
lately i’ve been hosting a lot of tea parties in my studio. it’s my new favorite time of day and it feels so civilized to actually sit and sip a cup of tea over conversation. my word of the month is “pause.” i highly recommend it.
sometimes it really is just that black and white. i’ve been working in the studio lately using both porcelain and black clay. it is very difficult to keep things separate, as black clay is SUPER MESSY. luckily i have two work tables and duo clay tools + sponges. and one must be very vigilant about the clean up in this situation.
i felt VERY honored to have been included in the new LARK BOOK- 500 TEAPOTS volume 2.
i bought this beautiful old wire stand in vermont (i love anything on wheels). i thought it would be the perfect display in my shop for ceramics, linens, bags, etc . . .
but WILMA had something ELSE in mind for it !
don’t worry, when she’s not napping, this is currently filled with ON SALE items.
this is what the winner of my last facebook free giveaway won . . . a grading sampler of vermont maple syrup + one of my pourers ! i happen to LOVE maple syrup (especially when it’s straight from vermont) and i love to share what i love. the next free giveaway will take place on wilma’s facebook page. stay tuned . . .
my brother-in-law dug up 700 lbs of VERMONT CLAY to make a pizza oven. i’m taking this bit home with me to fire and i’m so excited to see the results. we are also building a studio here in vermont so imagine how convenient it would be ! stay tuned . . .
