i have a new set of sketch salt + pepper cellars in my shop !
i call them “sketch” because i draw directly onto the piece like a pencil on paper, one of my favorite mediums !

squid. ink. pasta . . . this is one of my favorite things to eat and this version was NEVER BETTER. the ink was so black and it was SO savory. i actually painted in my sketchbook using the squid ink. i can’t wait to go back ! la barque bleue.

happy endings.
it is bittersweet that my old studio is CLOSING it’s doors ! everything must come to an end, it was inevitable, and people are going off on their own to do amazing things. but they are going out in style with a HUGE party and one last show ! come and join in on bidding fourth & clay adieu. there will be a BIG seconds sale going on too !

. . . or FIVE. one of my most favorite things to do is to stop what i’m doing for a spot of tea. it is so important for me to take a break during the day, to stop and reflect, to just be still. i equally enjoy doing it alone OR with a friend or two or FIVE. make time for TEA !

mamma MIA . . .
i am SO EXCITED to show you the cover of the italian version of WILMA’S WORLD ! our book was bought by rizolli/fabri editori and will be published and sold in ITALY in september ! they gave me the translations and i re-wrote the book in italian, a language that i do not speak at all. it actually proved quite challenging ! the book will be ever so slightly different . . . leave it to the italians to better design something that was pretty good to begin with !
