the JAR project.
i’m sending off my JAR today for the JAR PROJECT. this will part of a sculptural installation at the BROOKLYN ART LIBRARY. there will be 200 sculptures in these same tiny jars. it was such a fun project for me, as i love containing things in small jars !
this jar is 3″ tall x 2 1/4″ wide

happy saint patrick’s day.
the claddagh symbol has such beautiful and poignant meaning behind it. plus i love the look of this symbol, as it includes some of my favorite icons. i think it is the perfect symbol for a wedding. i designed this ring bearer dish with that in mind.

a good egg.
EVERY morning, my husband leaves me the perfect cup of tea on my bedside table (this is no easy feat . . . 2 tea bags steeped for 4 minutes, a cup of non-fat powdered milk, a dash of organic grade B maple syrup all elegantly whisked and concocted in a mason jar or pint glass and served to me piping hot). and in his quest to get me to eat food before 2 pm, he will sometimes leave me a morsel of food or a smoothie. today he left these soft boiled eggs. i thought the colors and the composition were ever so photo-worthy. isn’t he a good egg ?
