high design at america’s mart
this summer has been much about the fig. these are a few of the figs i just made in france.
and this was my new food obsession . . . “fresh figs, a strong bleu cheese, and a drizzle of honey.” i ate this concoction many times a week . . . beautiful and oh so satisfying.
i just randomly found this interview on the internet . . . it’s part of a Q + A i did when i was interviewed by martha stewart living magazine earlier this year . . .

just by chance, i made 13 spoons in france without even keeping track of how many i was making. 13 is my lucky number. i love when things like this happen.
