speaks directly to my heart. after a couple of grueling weeks working on a big deadline, i finally turned it in. now, BACK to my sabbatical . . .
i am supposed to be on sabbatical and making larger nonfunctional works for FUN . . . but i was derailed by a lot of unexpected projects that i had to do. my sabbatical is about to start up again AND i did find the time to make these two large coil built vessels which made me very happy. more of THIS to come. (wilma for scale)

i LOVE boro textiles. there was such an abundance of them in tokyo. turns out, the next best thing to buying boro fabrics is SKETCHING them ! so satisfying.
because mayday AND mother’s day are right around the corner, i’ve picked a few handmade vases to sell in my online store . . . people need FLOWERS !
you can find them here.
i love little old things. i recently acquired this little metal shovel and this little old whisk broom. for some reason, they make me very happy.
i’ve been busy designing my new line for magenta and having so much fun doing it !
my new line is called INDIGO and will be out in the fall.
stay tuned . . . i am definitely an indigo girl.
